My title: Seek and ye’ shall find….
Usually when I’m writing I try not to listen to other music, because it just ends up messing with my mind. Every once in a while though I’ll hear a song and get so obsessed with it that I have to learn it. Whether it’s the chord changes, the hihat pattern, or a certain strut in the vocals, I have to unlock its secrets. I end up taking apart the song and learning all the parts down to the smallest details. Then sometimes the only way I can get it out of my head is to put it back together. Not meant for anyone to hear, but I figured I’d share — Avir (Bamboo Shoots)
